Gagliardi Gallery - An exhibition of artists selected from the Chianciano Art Museum, Italy
The Gagliardi Gallery, established nearly 40 years ago on the King's Road, will exhibit a selection of works from the Chianciano Art Museum in Italy.
The exhibition will feature artists from across the world thereby encapsulating a spectrum of global contemporary art in all its forms. Many of the artists are world renowned and represented in various museums and important private collections.
Some of the highlights include 'Beginning' a photograph by Khaled Abul-Dahab Khaleb, a self-taught Egyptian photographer; 'Betty' a digital work of art by Aaf Woldinga, who embraced this art form in 2007 and received the Leonardo Award for Digital Art in 2013. A mixed media painting entitled 'Punti di Vista' by Marzia Bellesso, who has participated in many exhibitions including the Biennales of Florence and Verona; then there is 'Beautiful Roses', an oil on canvas by Laurie Lundquist, an environmental artist with deep interests in both the natural and engineered systems at work in the urban landscape; a sculpture entitled 'Alone' by Kerry Cannon who recently exhibited in Colorado; to name but a few.
The exhibition runs from Friday 19th September to the 26th inclusive.
