Joy Osman Artist

Joy Osman is a multifaceted artist from East London. She creates wonderfully unique artworks which include bold, colourful abstracts, as well as figurative and illustrative artworks. Her abstracts take their inspiration from jazz and classical music, while museums, dreams and myth are often the starting point for her charcoal and pastel drawings.
Joy Osman has been selected for the Chianciano Biennale 2018, organised by the Chianciano Art Museum, a prestigious exhibition where 120 artists from 40 nations will be presented in a celebration of Contemporary art. The selection process is rigorous and allows art lovers, critics and collectors to view over 300 artworks presented in the Art Museum and at the Chianciano EXPO galleries in the medieval centre.
During this year’s Chianciano Biennale, Joy will exhibit three of her fabulous artworks, two of which are abstract paintings, “Yellow Triangles” and “Ochre Diamond”. She will also be showing one of her figurative works, ‘From Velasquez”.
