London Biennale 2015: a well organised and well established success

Chelsea has always been a focal point of celebration for the arts in London, home to some of the most famous galleries in the capital; the place where the beauty and talent of the most diverse artists is concentrated the most.

It was only a few days ago in fact that the prestigious Chelsea Old Town Hall, situated on the famous King’s Road, hosted a unique event organised by the Gagliardi Art & Partners, owners of the well established Gagliardi Gallery, also situated on King’s Road for nearly 40 years. It is surely not a first for the Gagliardi team though, in fact they already run the Biennale at the Chianciano Art Museum, Tuscany.

The 2013 London Art Biennale was a huge success and the 2015 edition only confirmed what appears to becoming a “must go” event in the heart of Chelsea. The works of 130 artists have been selected from 40 nations, creating a unique multicultural atmosphere that symbolises the finest avant-garde art.

The inauguration has seen the rooms of the Chelsea Old Town Hall animated by the presence of hundreds of guests, among artists and arts lovers, including numerous diplomatic Ambassadors and the Lord Mayor of the borough of Kensington & Chelsea, Councillor Maighread Condon-Simmonds.

For those who missed this special event there will be the possibility to visit the Chianciano Biennale in Tuscany, which will be presented in  September.
